Meet Your Baker
Up to this point, my little corner of the interwebs has been relatively faceless, but as I'm re-vamping and attempting to expand, I wanted to take this time to introduce myself, so hi ya'll! I'm Sarah, the face behind Sift Happens. Outside of the baking game, I have an amazing, supportive family that owns my heart. My husband keeps me laughing while my 10-year-old mini-me keeps me on my toes. I have the most thoughtful bonus daughter anyone could ask for and two dogs that have taught me how to love without condition.
Baking has been my happy place for as long as I can remember. Although my passion is decorated cookies, I really do love baking all things. I have a full-time IT job for a large healthcare organization which heavily interferes with the time I'd love to spend baking, but does afford me the opportunity to have a small 'baking studio' in my home, and offers some pretty great co-workers, so no complaints here. If I'm not involved in one of the above-mentioned things, I'm likely taking on another hobby I don't have time for (crocheting, embroidering, hand lettering, photography, running, dancing around a Target, etc.).

I believe that desserts and dogs are two of the greatest gifts to humanity.
Yes, this is my natural hair color (this is by far the question I get asked most).
I will always have your order on time but will likely be 5-10 minutes late for just about anything else.
I drink too much coffee for someone who is perpetually tired.
